ASUS Republic of Gamers doesn't slow down between CES and Computex, and this summer's run of releases proves it. Three new products landed within weeks of each other, each aimed at a different part of a serious gaming setup: the display, the audio, and the controller in your hand. Here's what's actually new in each.
ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM & PG32UCWM
ASUS's newest OLED monitors, a 26.5-inch PG27UCWM and a 31.5-inch PG32UCWM, both run true Tandem RGB OLED panels at 4K, with a Dual Mode switch that drops to FHD at 480Hz when you need raw frame rate over resolution. A TrueBlack Glossy coating keeps contrast deep, while a new GaNFET power stage and OLED Care Pro are built specifically to extend panel life, historically OLED's biggest weakness for long gaming sessions. Both support Dolby Vision, VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black, and DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20, so they're ready for the next few years of GPU output, not just today's.
ROG Gjallar Gaming Soundbar
The Gjallar takes ROG into a category it hasn't seriously played in before: the soundbar. It's built around 2.1.2 Dolby Atmos surround, with dedicated left and right full-range drivers, tweeters, up-firing channels for height, and a wireless subwoofer handling low end. The pitch is straightforward, cinematic positional audio for games, without a full surround speaker setup, plus clear enough voice reproduction for squad comms.
ROG Raikiri II Pro Controller
On the input side, the Raikiri II Pro is ASUS's answer to the current wave of pro-tier PC controllers. It runs an 8,000Hz polling rate, hot-swappable joystick modules so worn sticks don't mean a dead controller, and battery life built for long sessions without a mid-match charge.
What this means for your setup
None of these three replace each other, they stack. A PG32UCWM for visuals, a Gjallar for audio, and a Raikiri II Pro for input cover the three places where a gaming setup actually wins or loses matches.
